A construction project is set to bridge a gap in Williamson County by building a new three-mile service road along the 183a toll road. Starting at Avery Ranch Blvd and extending to SH 29 in Liberty Hill, the free alternative aims to accommodate increasing regional development. Work on the road and an accompanying shared-use path began last July and is scheduled to conclude in 2029.
Because some areas in Williamson County border Travis County, voters are urged to make sure they show up to vote in the county where they are registered.
Williamson County will conduct a study to evaluate the safety of school crosswalks across the county, according to the county.
