Winux (also known as Linuxfx or Wubuntu) is an Ubuntu-based desktop Linux distribution featuring a KDE Plasma desktop themed to resemble the default Microsoft Windows desktop. It integrates popular Windows software, such as the Edge browser or the PowerShell shell program. Furthermore, the distribution supports installation and use of native Windows applications - either through the Wine compatibility layer, or the WinBoat app which runs a lightweight Windows virtual machine inside a Docker container. Winux also provides a native support for some Microsoft technologies, such as OneDrive and Active Directory.
