Evergreen Common Lisp implements tiered JIT compilation with on-stack replacement, and includes many other interesting features (fibers! JVM integration! static and dynamic linked binaries! tree-shaking! speculative optimization w/ deoptimization!) You can even run native Android apps on your phone and connect to them with sly (https://github.com/atgreen/evergreen-compose). It still has long way to go, and sometimes is comically bad, but the Android apps working is a milestone that is good enough to share v0.0.1. The Android apps build directly from asdf. You don't need any of the normal Android tooling, apart from adb (the debugger, to copy it to your phone and forward slynk ports). Made with AI, of course (>2k commits over 2 months).
