A prison riot in Mexico’s Sinaloa state killed 10 people and injured 16 inmates during family visiting hours on Thursday. The violence erupted at El Castillo Penitentiary in Mazatlán, prompting security forces to restore order. Authorities said the prison, which houses about 1,800 inmates, was under control.
