Genkit and ADK (Agent Development Kit) are both Google-backed Gen AI frameworks with first-class Go SDKs, and I keep getting the same question: what is actually different when you sit down and write the code?
This is not a "which one is better" article. They point at different problems: ADK is an agent orchestration framework (agents, sessions, multi-agent transfer, and since 2.0 a graph-based workflow engine), while Genkit is a GenAI application framework (model calls, flows, structured output, middleware).
