New indoor golf club gets serious about data in South Austin

A new indoor golf facility in South Austin is combining the the convenience of an indoor golf club with serious knowledge of the sport. Southside Golf Co is now open at 11215 Conroy Ln., Unit 4, in Manchaca.

Readers may picture something like the entertainment venue Top Golf, but a press release calls Southside Golf Co a "golf-first concept." It was founded by PGA Professional Justin Aragon, who specializes in data-driven instruction for all levels. The goal is to help visitors improve at golf, not just entertain them for an afternoon.

“South Austin deserves a golf club built around the game itself,” said Aragon. “That’s what we’re building: South Austin’s golf club —a place where serious players, beginners, juniors, and everyday golfers can practice, improve, compete, and get professional support without the barriers or formality of a traditional country club.”
