Microsoft Office Apps drop to $15 with no subscription

TL;DR: Skip Microsoft 365 and get a Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 lifetime license for Windows for $14.97 (reg. $229).

Microsoft 365 bills you every year to keep Word and Excel on your PC. If you’d rather pay once, a Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 for Windows lifetime license is on sale for $14.97 (reg. $229).

You get Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access as desktop apps on one Windows 10 or 11 PC. All seven run fully offline, and your license is tied to the device rather than a Microsoft account.

One trade-off comes with the price. Office 2019 reached Microsoft’s end of support on October 14, 2025, so you get the final updated build and no new security or feature updates after that. Microsoft also plans to retire Publisher across all versions after October 2026. This version doesn’t include Teams, OneDrive storage, or Copilot, and you need to redeem your code within 7 days of purchase.

Pay once for Office and stop renewing a subscription every year.

Through November 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT, you can get Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 for Windows on sale for $14.97.
